Once again way to long!

Hey Bloggers! It has been since April since the last time I posted something. It has been a crazy last 6 months. I started school again to get my teaching certification in Special Education and have been traveling!

My mom and I went on an Alaskan Cruise, with Scrapmap and Teresa Collins! It was an amazing vacation, not to mention some awesome scrapbooking projects from Teresa. She is amazing. So kind-hearted, loving, and giving! Mom and I made some awesome friends on the ship in our scrapbooking group! I hope I can sometime get to travel with them and Teresa again. Not to mention the awesome views in Alaska....absolutley breathtaking! Well here's to hoping I can keep up with my blog! Happy Scrappin' Jami

Tisket a Tasket

T

This is one of my most favorite layouts that I did. Tisket a Tasket mom and I made our first baskets. The pictures are of the Longaberger basket company in Dresden Ohio. Mom and I got to make our own longaberger baskets. It was a ton of fun. I weaved the paper like we did on your baskets! Enjoy!

My Eyes

My awesome Soul Sister Deb, created this theme challenge.

Elements needed in Layout:
"No sir, I will not take that for granted."
A stamped Image
ribbon

I used fairly new SEI patterned paper and I embossed with copper for the butterly stamped image.

My mom told me to use my eyes for something that I don't take for granted. I have rare disorder called Kerataconus. It means that my corneas are degenerating. Glasses help very little. I squint a lot! I am hoping with the new doctor I am working with he will find me some contacts that do not hurt and that will help to see, otherwise I will have to have a corneal transplant surgery. That is something that I sure don't want to do!
